Hi, I'm Mufeng Tang (唐沐丰)
I'm an Applied Scientist at Amazon, based in London, UK. At the moment, I work with LLMs.
Previously, I was a Ph.D. student in Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning at University of Oxford, working with Prof. Rafal Bogacz and Prof. Helen Barron. I use neural networks to understand how our brain learns to behave and represent, and use our knowledge of the brain to improve neural network training.
Prior to my PhD, I obtained my master's degree in Statistics at the University of Chicago. I worked with Prof. Yali Amit and Prof. Jason MacLean at UChicago on biologically plausible neural networks.
I was born and raised in Chongqing, China.
